What Is An Arc Flash?

Simply put, Arc Flash is an electrical explosion. Chances are you have even seen one yourself. Ever pulled the plug out of a wall socket and seen a spark? That my friend is an Arc Flash! Although it is small, because the power is only 120 volts and only a couple of amps, that arc flash can become quite severe and even deadly when it occurs in a 480-volt electrical system that is carrying 20,000 plus amps, like most commercial facilities do. This is exactly why the NFPA, National Fire Protection Agency, has taken strong measures to mitigate this specific kind of electrical hazard.

For the past ten years I have been educating business/building owners and their staff on this potentially deadly event. Which is exactly why you came here in the first place, to learn about arc flash. What you don’t know can, and often does, hurt you.

That is why I do what I do. I help people like you, “Protect your assets: employees, vendors, and property” and limit your financial Liability!
