Risk Assessment Process
Risk Assessment Process
Our Step-By-Step Process
Every Arc Flash Risk Assessment we conduct follows a proven, structured process. Here's exactly what to expect from start to finish.
The PSE; Preliminary System Evaluation
Schedule an on-site inspection of the EDS, (Electrical Distribution System) to identify every single panel or asset that needs an Arc Flash Label. This helps us prepare a comprehensive proposal for the entire facility. This could take between 1 and 2 hours.
Generate a Proposal
This step could take several days based on the size and complexity of your EDS. Once we have finalized our proposal we must come back and review the entire process and explain the overall price.
Decisions – Decisions
Since we've been doing this since 2013, we fully understand that decisions like these usually take some time. However, if you find that you are able to commit to our proposal at this step, simply let us know and we will move forward at a mutually acceptable pace.
The Approval
- Once you are prepared to move forward there will be several things that we will need to get the entire process underway.
- A signed SOW (scope of work) order.
- A 50% deposit invoice must be generated and paid before we can order your COI (certificate of Insurance) and schedule your Job Start.
The Job Start
On the morning of our job start we will need to have about 30 minutes to review our safety protocols together. Please let us know if you have any of the same and how long they will take to complete.
The ESA Review
The Electrical System Analysis report may take a week or two to complete. Upon completion we will reach out to you to schedule a review of the things we uncovered during our energized electrical inspection and data collection services.
Apply The Labels
This final step will take place as soon as we receive the final payment for your new Arc Flash Risk Assessment.
